    Hello,

    I hope this is allowed as I want a general opinion from my boards breveren on our most cherished sports personality in this country, so I have added a poll and await eagerly your replies.

    :(Thats an awful thing to say. Katy is a top ranked boxer from this little island and you disrespect her like that. Very unfair. Also incredibly she competes at International level soccer for Ireland. Immense achievment.

    Pro mens golf is more popular and has a much larger sample size in terms of people competing in it. This in general means it is more competitive and more difficult to reach the top, thus Harrington > Taylor.

    Well that is your opinion but I personally believe it is ignorant. Kevin Doyle is a world class striker, and Joe Gamble should start for the Irish National team.

    Some say he was not that good this season but Roddy Collins selected Joe in his team of the year so that is good enough for me. I think Gamble is much better than Keith Fahey.
