Sick of Mplayer and using Gamespy just ends up with ****e pings

I don't think you can use dedicated servers for AvP, afaik it has to be done with one of the players acting as a host. It's far too fast for multiplayer anyway

NOLF multiplayer is great; we were trying to set up a server on EEDs machine, but Lithtech seemingly can't change the port of the game server to anything other than default - which, since it's under 30000, isn't accessible on Wireplay, our hosts. Shame. We've told Monolith about the problem, I'll let you know if we resolve it and get the server up.
