Just wondering what everyone else gets when they go to get some food from a chipper?
Myself i'd get a good ol' 1/4lber with cheese a nice big diet coke to wash it down and of course a bag of chips or when im broke a curry chips does the job quite nicely.

My chipper burnt down a few months ago and they haven't reopened.
Thanks for reminding me of this painful memory.

You see just when I'm trying to make half an effort to eat healthy you wreck it with a post!!

My favourite would be a Snack Box with Stuffing & Coleslaw! Drop of Curry!

Am living abroad and there's no equivalent :(
I make it a priority anytime I'm home, to head to the local chippy for a nice big quarter pounder with cheese and a bag of chips drowned in vinegar - you know when there's so much vinegar in the bag, you poke your nose in and the fumes make you cough ....ah yeah, good times. Am getting a craving now!!

When I'm feeling really peckish I go for a half pounder with cheese. mmmmm

(normally a quarter pounder with cheese)

Decided to eradicate chips from now on. It's a challenge (one I am up for).

Im also a fan of the "half pounder" with cheese.

Some chips go nicely with it, and a cool beer or coke. Ahhhh!;)

A good aul Andy McNab and Garlic & Cheese chips with a bottle of coke to wash it down. Nyom nyom nyom.

Chicken and chips, though my chipper uses the same size box whether you order 1, 2 or 3 pieces of chicken, meaning I lose out on chips if I want more chicken despite still paying full whack for them. This insult will not be tolerated.

    quarter cheese/salad,curry chips.
    salt no vinegar.
    can of 7-up.:)

    Cheesy chips and chicken wings.

    Or just a dinner box.

Taco chips with cheese can be nice sometimes but depends on the chipper.

either a fresh cod and chips or a half pounder (no onions) and chips. i used to always get a ham and mushroom pizza with a battered burger chopped up on top but the bastards have stopped doing pizzas:(

Can't have it again til after the baby is born, but I'll be queuing up for a spicy chicken fillet burger, chips and curry sauce. NOT curried chips, it's just not the same!

That sounds delicious!! Where do you get that?

I like curry chips and a battered sausage.

I'd love a good chipper near me. The local Turkish kebab shop do decent enough chips but I'd take your hand off for a batter burger, onion rings and a large single from Romayo's in Clonsilla.

    Garlic Sauce Monsoir??? Oui??

I used to adore the stuff!! I'd always be munching away on a chip wilth a big dollop of the tasty stuff, but have noticed that in the past year or so, in every chipper I try, it now tastes disgusting!! Why is this?? Is there anywhere that sells it in it's more tasty form?

Double Quarter Pounder avec Cheese Meal from Maccy Ds. Large.

Failing that a Coleslaw-cheese chips from Superdine apres Club L.

I've noticed the same, it seems to have a lot stronger taste since they changed it.

Last time I ordered from the chipper was after I had been sick and hadn't eaten in almost a week so I ordered a Kebab, cheeseburgers, 2 sausages and 2 bags of chips.

Normally just go for battered sausages and chips.
