Foot loops on tights

Hi, Are foot loops a "must" on tights to stop them riding up? Was thinking of buys http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/dhb_Merston_Bib_Tights_09/5360038993/ However I have very skinny ankles so am concerned that I'll have problems without foot loops. Any thoughts? Thanks

I have them, and don't have problems with them riding up, but as with a lot of things YMMV -pull your socks over the ankles, and wear shoe covers and you'll be fine I reckon

If the tights fit you properly - i.e. aren't baggy and are long enough - then you don't need those loops.

I have skinny ankles and I have no problems with tights that do not have foot loops. More important than footloops are bib-straps to stop the tights slipping down.
