Red shoes and opaque tights ok?

I have a christening 2 mor and was thinking of wearing a black and white dress and red patent shoes, would it be ok to wear opaque black tights with this outfit?

its certainly a "trend" thing to do at the moment. i think it would be fab.....check out these stars in theirs!

i dont see why not.
black shoes would be the safe option but i think red would shake it up a bit + look really good.
fashions something to have fun with, i think

I wore black tights and sparkly red high heels last week with a black dress and red belt and I felt really paranoid heading out but I got loads of compliments on it..

got a couple of 'Dorothy' comments too but all in good spirit

Anyone think a just-above-knee length red dress, black tights and red shoes would be a bit OTT? I'm thinking of that ensemble for a birthday party on Sunday but don't want to overdose on red.

as long are the reds match (shoes and dress) and you accessories in black it will be fab.

i have a bit of a thing for matching colours.....i can be quite anal about things like that

Anyone know where i can get the red shoes like the ones in the dailymail pic??? I checked asos and schuh but they don't have anything like them
