I had to break into my own car a few weeks back. I put the keys through the open window into the ingnition and turned on the battery. Pulled the auto up window button and pulled my hands out of the car. When the window was fully up I realised I do not have a spare key so the battery was live and the car was sealed. ****!

My neighbour very kindly came out to help me after getting sick of hearing me shout at the car. Nothing that could be done.

I had to put a knife through the door frame bend it open and stick a metal bar down to push the elec window button. I wrecked the inside of the door. Still you cant see it from the outside and my boss has not seen it yet.

why not just break the window, and get that repaired? if its a popular car, it'd be very cheap

A few months ago I was pegging for the bus when the driver (as they often do) waited for me to get right to the stop before pulling off, so the whole bus could have a good laugh.

Taxi suddenly pulls up beside me, and offers to take me to the next bus stop to get the bus.

I said no, but it was still lovely of him.

I had a flat tire the other morning..some owl lad was shouting me on the street (because i didnt realise and was driving on it:o) anyway, he came over to tell me when I pulled up outside my sons school..thought that was nice of him, to go out of his way.

Then, two other people (both women) offered to change my tire for me. Which I politly declined..then a guy in work also did the same..thoguht that was so so nice of them.
What was he doing up at that hour?

I often offer to change the spare wheel especially if it is a lady driver poor sods the way wheel nuts are torqued on today with air guns the Incredible Hulk could hardly take them off. I once bent a brace and hurted my back simultaneously while loosening the studs on a car wheel.

I was coming in to work a couple of weeks ago on the bus upstairs. When the bus stopped in town there was this doddery little old lady infront of me making hard work of getting down the stairs from the upper deck. So being raised to be helpful to my elders I placed the flat of my hand squarely between her shoulderblades and gave a good shove! She was down the stairs in no time at all! The look on her face as I stepped over her at the bottom made it all worth it!:)

serves her right, she shouldn't have been upstairs if she couldn't handle it.
