I have a Philips cd 135 Cordless Phone and Answering Machine and when I make a call my name/telephone number doesn't appear on the recipient's phone. I have a Philips cd 135 Cordless Phone and Answering Machine and when I make a call my name/telephone number doesn't appear on the recipient's phone. For example, on my brother's phone all that comes up is 'private number', even though my name and number are programmed into his phone.

I have been through the manual and can't find a way of correcting this.

You just need to contact your provider and ask them to do it for you...
