Ah cheers Paddy 'n' DjAl, really appreciate those tracks lads.

Ground Level - Dreams of Heaven = :P:P:P:PExcellent bonus track you put up there Paddy and yes that second Sublime track was the Olympic version I wanted;)

Intuition - Dance With Me (Invention Mix) = ever lasting unknown classic which fortunatley wasn't destroyed by commercial pirate stations.
Must be 92/93, a real early Olympic gem. Once again thanks AL:)

PS: Cheers ASYLUMKEY for banging up Ultracynic - Nothing Lasts Forever. That was one of those tunes you would just stand there and listen to in the Olympic and let the long intro finish before the beat kicked in, savage;) Meant to put up a request for this before.

Here is a track ASYLUMKEY from M.A.N.I.C. - Gotta Get Loose
(:ooops see that someone else got in there before me, maybe they are 2 different mixes)

Fair play ACEBERG, I love that track. Thats on DJ Rob - House Pressure 2. I literally wasted my youth listeneing to that tape. It was the sound track to my Asylum times. When we were in the Asylum it was like listeneing to the tape over and over:D
Reminds me of a mate who was the first to buy that tape and we all got a copy from him with our 'twin decks'. Unfortunately he isn't with us anymore.
I have managed to get a few MP3's from the tape. I'll get the rest one day:rolleyes:

One of my favourites, an amazing track. Don't mean to tease you too much, but I have a copy of it on original CD. I'll dig it out and rip it to MP3, if I haven't done that already (in work now, so can't check). ;)

Best of luck Jonny. If you run in to any difficulty just bang on one of my Retro CD's I uploaded a while back, Norman Jay I suggest:D
All joking aside I actually witnessed this one night in the Asylum. I noticed that as I was listeneing to some class mixing there was no mixing actually happening in the DJ box. I was obviously a tape being played and there was was a couple of DJ's in panic mode trying to sort out some 'technical glitch'.
Also a couple of times the sound would just 'go' After a few seconds of stunned silence there would be all sorts of mad things screaming at the DJ's to get it sorted which they always did. Remember once this took a few minutes.

I remember that sh.it a couple of times alright.....real brain melter when your flyin off the head & then no tunes:eek:....you suddenly can notice how out of it you are when there is no sounds in the place & everyone stops dancing:P.....gig in the Belvedere hotel in 2005 with Mick Walsh & Pressure it happened about a half hour from the end of the gig when pressure was playing & all power to speakers & decks went for about 2 mins & man it was a long two mins.....pressure was just smiling shaking his head......came back on & it was class for the end of it & if i remember correctly this was the last tune he played & was a favorite of mine in the ASYLUM......

Is it true that an MC got pulled out of the DJ box one night because he was wrecking everyones head/buzz?

That was just one of the stories I heard, maybe not true at all..

    Cheers,
    Mick

MC's should ALWAYS be pulled out of the DJ Box!
