    The episode on Parallel Universes is a head wrecker. For instance right now in a parallel world there could be a dinosaur killing the first viewer of this thread.

    The type of animals alive today could not have evolved if the dinosaurs still roamed the earth

    The dinosaurs could still be alive parrallel to our existance in an instance where earths climate didnt shift so rapidly so that the larger ones could adapt

    well, what the contributors to the programme posited is that every possibility could be played out in parallel Earths and universes'. so perhaps it's possible that humans from a paralell world, through a portal, have entered an earth where dinosaurs live?
    for instance they mentioned there could be a universe where the big bang is only a few hundred thousand years old.
    one question they don't explore is how come no one from a parallel universe has visited us.

    It's only a hypothesis. Anything is possible , infinite universes or just this one. Don't worry about it too much, most of these theoretical physicists invent such theories to explain their own pet theories of everything and to make the mathematics more elegant. The only universe you know exists for certain is the one you inhabit.
