cygwin help

ive downloaded and installed cygwin but nowhere along the way waas there the option to add packages. ive looked for ages but cant find out how to add packages; i need the gcc one for c++. how do i get it? thanks

Run the setup.exe program. (Even if the program is already set up)
Click Next, Install from internet, Next, Next, Next, Next
Add a convenient Mirror http://ftp.esat.net is reliable. Next.

The list of packages should be downloaded and displayed on the next page.

If you can't see the packages you want click the View button a few times to set the view mode to "Uninstalled" or "Full".

Click on the packages' entry in the "New" column to change from "Skip" to the version number. (3.4.4-3 at the moment)

Click Next to start installing it and other updates.
