i actually don't know anyone doing it,
i'm not sure where in france to go, I've been there a good few times.
what did u get in french in the LC?

I only got like a B2 or something, thought i did better tbh, i got an A2 in business..... i was looking to do better in that as well though......

Is the commerce side more economics or business in relation to the leaving cert.... or is it toatlly different to both?

Also, whats the standard of French like?

The french isn't impossible! Trust me, my french is grand like, good enough, didn't go to many lectures and still managed to pass! Would defo recommend going to all the french lectures!! There's about 4/5 lectures of french a week the rest of the hours are given to commerce. We did economics, law, information systems, marketing, management, accounting, maths, government and politics..think that was it! Maths and Law are by far the hardest! Go to law lectures!!!:D

How many hours a week is it?

A friend of mine did first year plain commerce last year and was only in college for 9 hours a week.... is Commerce and French a lot more?

Straight Commerce is defo more than 9 hours a week, about 13 from what I can remember. I had about 14 hours a week last year give or take 2 or so hours for tutorials! Straight Commerce do a few extra modules that we don't do because we do french..

No unfortunately theres lectures everyday! You will probably only have one or two lectures on a friday though - not many people go in Fridays! Go to ucc.ie, click on current students, timetables, programme timetables and then find bcomm and french (european)1..sometimes it doesn't open it, it wouldn't work there for me:mad: anyway thats ye're timetable!
