    Looks like the actual stats are a little different, from the front page:
    Threads: 841,568, Posts: 10,908,803, Members: 188,560

    There's about a million records in the actual database, that would include deleted threads etc, which don't show as part of the "official" stats.

    Hmmm Todays POTD is on a forum I dont have access to / are banned from.

    I haxored into the mainframe and filtered the posts on the front page by thanks. There was a post by Ruu in a thread entitled stepping down as SMod so I took a stab in the dark. :)

    I've got a suggestion with regards Thread of the Day...

    Is there any way to make thread of the day a thread that has the most topics and/or views of that day ? So it's then a "most popular thread of the day" ?

    I quite like the post of the day and I've been checking it daily. There's a good mix of it being a sober post shedding some level headedness to a topic and it just being something funny

    On Monday it was Ruu's post on Sunday in the mods forum.
    On Tuesday it was Biker.ie's soft porn gallery.
    It will update in a little while for Wednesday. It doesn't seem to change over bang on midnight anymore.
