    Hi

Just a very quick question on upgrading a D510 Harddrive. Will any standard 2.5in IDE HD do the trick, or is there a specific Dell HD to buy for it. I know Dell used to have their own interfaces and connectors on their tower PC's but wasn't sure about their laptops.

    Thanks.

From the look of the replacement disk Dell offer for that laptop, you should be ok with a standard 2.5" IDE drive, your main worry would be making sure that the drive you pick has similar thermal specs.
