Anyone ever hear of or visit this place. Blackborough House is a derelict 19th century mansion with a massive scrapyard in its grounds. It has featured in classic car magainzes in rust in peace type articles. It was also featured in a Lost Treasures scrapyard supplement in Popular Classics many years ago. There are a few stories doing the rounds about this place eg stories about the inside of the house being full of spare parts and perhaps even complete vehicles which were brought inside and driven up the stairs  :D

I called in there about three years ago on my way back from Beaulieu and apart from another scrapyard in Malta, it was the best one I've ever been in. There was everything and anything there going back to the 20's, tbh I spent two days there there was that much stuff there. The owner lives in a part of the house that isn't falling down with a couple of St. Bernards for company, he was trying to sell the place then and move abroad. It would be a shame to see the place cleared, if it was here the EPA would have a field day.:)
