That no matter how long I'm with my boyfriend, even if we're both 100, it wont be long enough and I'll regret not having known him for longer.

    What the title says.

My answer would be not acceptin to have seks back when I was 14....Of course now its grand, but at the time with hormones raging etc twudda been great

Well son, the funny thing about regret is,
It's better to regret something you have done,
Than to regret something you haven't done.
And by the way, if you see your mom this weekend,
Be sure and tell her, SATAN, SATAN, SATAN!!!

I was standing in an ATM line about a year and a half ago and it was election time. I was minding my own business and suddenly Mary Harney comes out of nowhere and shakes my hand and then she's off.

****ing bitch. I will always regret not saying or doing something to her. Oh she was quick alright for a fat bird.

what an odd thing to say , usually bad choices result in someone being unhappy with how they are , perhaps you made only a few bad descisions and they were not that detrimental

personally , my life is full of regret , when i look back , every important descision i had to make , i made the wrong one , im 30 now and i firmly believe that the more bad choices you make , the harder it gets to know what is the right choice , you end up that you cant trust your own judgement and that is a scary thing , to have no instinct

But the tough times you have experienced have shaped how you are today, which will in turn affect how you will turn out in the future.

Don't lose hope and keep going with your heart. It will bring you to your destination eventually, even if it does detour occasionally.

not studying enough in school would be my biggest regret

Prob going to UCD, couldn't really have known better at the time, thought all colleges were much the same. One friend went to Edinburgh, that would have been a much much better decision.

Not something I'm particularly bothered about though.

which hollywood movie did you recite those cliched lines from
what i am today is a failure , bad descisions combined with bad luck and the malevolence of others which i failed to spot in time resulted in this

if hardship in life was a recipe for eventual success , then parents would beat thier kids safe in the knowlede that they would end up stronger as a result and starving kids in africa would all end up millionaires

i better stop now as after hours is at heart an irreverant light hearted show and i dont want to wreck its members buzz

    Bitter much?

Jesus, someone tries to help you look at things differently and you knock it down straight away.

For the record, if parents beat their kids for that purpose then it would kill the kids soul(s) and they would likely not succeed in being happy or otherwise.

All I was saying was that that which does not kill you makes you stronger, if you make it happen. But you would obviously prefer to remain bitter and carry on the "poor me" show for the foreseeable future.

Some news for you pal. You're not the only one with sh1t to deal with. Deal with it or crawl back under the duvet.

Go and do it now, its never too late. You'll probably end up with a better result cos you're older and wiser. I am probably 2 or 3 times your age and only started a degree 3 years ago and LOVING it. Just do it.

Someones lost their mojo! Kraggys right everyone has stuff. Bad decisions are only such if you think of them as that. Its better to look at it from another angle learn move on and develop yourself The result will be a stronger wiser person. Look at Austin Powers.
