I was looking at the advents4211 netbook in pc world today and i noticed a philips freevents notebook/netbook which was around €660. it was of similar size to the advents but had a dvd/cd drive and was slightly bigger.

My question is which model would this have been and also what do ye guys think of it?

    cheers

Carlo its Davys cousin Rush, i bought a Freevents 15NB57 in January as a back up and now the old one is the back up. 120 gig HDD, 2 gigs of ram, DVD RW, Dual Core Processor, SVHS, Vista Premium for 750 (price has gone down) Its a cracking laptop, really reliable and great for music and pictures. There are only two drawbacks, 1 you got no micorsoft office/works and 2 i cant find anywhere to buy a spare battery or charger. One strange thing though, because i use it for work the constant vibration from the music made three screws fall out of the bottom, which means i can look in at the inside of it by lifting it at one corner, but i am sure PC World will sort it out :D. I actually got that up in Sligo. I would recomend it though because it is a really tough machine over all. Its been dropped several times and it does get a bit of hardship, plus i have nearly 100 gigs of music on the hard drive but it still runs a dream.
