Reports have shown that firearms sales have suffered a marked increase in the last couple of weeks. (Despite the economy!)

If Obama wins, the fear is of another ban.
If McCain wins, the fear is of widespread rioting/looting.

RTE have a fairly cool website for it.

OMG, Obama is losing. the dream is over. :(

Mc Cain is currently 8-3 ahead on points. But its first to 270 so its not ALL lost.
Its a bit like a mate of mine who once drunkenly admitted to me that he was incredible in bed. For exactly 3 minutes. He couldnt last any longer. Asthma you see.
Its a natural risk associated with growing up in a geographical basin.

Youre going to wrack your head watching the results trickle in. For my own sanity ive decided to watch seinfeld and play video games until Jon and Colbert go live at 10.

Anywhere streaming Colbert or Stewart? Legally of course.

Also can't help thinking that if Obama loses that the million or so people gathered in Chicago could roam the country like the drunken mob in that Civil War Re-Enactment episode of South Park.

edit: The map just had a major update less than a minute ago. Several more states have come in with exit polls.

    Obama: 77
    McCain: 34

Should I go to bed, and see who has won tommorrow, or stay awake and watch the results trickle in.:confused:

    I am not working tomorrow.

I have enough drink to be pleasantly anebriated drunk by 4am.

And I could sleep on the couch if I get tired, with the TV on. :D

I've followed CNN since the primaries, seeing how they seem to sound the least like a propoganda machine.

It's because in the race for ratings and viewership, each station wants to be the first with the news. As a result, none of them could be arsed to wait for the official results to come out and instead they will 'call' or 'project' a State once their statisticians have finished crunching the numbers from the exit polls and the first couple of returns and concluded with a satisfactory degree of probability a particular outcome. Some stations are more conservative than others and will trade off speed for a greater likelihood of accuracy.
