Wiping Computer clean

Can anyone tell me how to wipe my hard drive clean and start from scratch.

My brother has downloaded massive games and otehr stupid things and even though there is a lot of space left on my comp it's running very very slow, I thought be wiping clean it would rid of all the games, music, dvd ect.

I remember before my computer got a virus and dell wiped it clean so it was like a brand new computer,

You know wipin it clean means nothin will survive yeah( sounds dumb but i have been surprised more then once by people not understandin this and askin where their files are gone)

Do you have a windows disc? If so you can use it to format the system and re-install the operating system

Though i would recommend doing virus/spy/malware scans if its a speed issue rather then hard drive space remaining, up to you though
