We have had a couple of Fortec Passion owners on here in the past. Might be interested to know that they have released a beta firmware which can read the Freesat EPG. As b-grade Passions can be obtained on Maplin.co.uk for £100, and you can record to external HD on a Passion+, they are a useful halfway for those whose budget can't go as far as a twin-tuner Freesat PVR.

However do note folks that some of the Content of that Forum may not be legal in EU or Ireland.

It's significant that ONLY the registration forum is accessible without registration.

I've a Fortec Beta, bought as cheap blind scan solution. Not a happy choice of name.
