I can understand why shops start stocking early but why do the radio stations need to play Christmas songs? (btw this is either today fm or 2fm not the radio in the shop)

I love Christmas songs but I also agree that it is far too early to be hearing them on the radio.Sure it's not even Halloween yet!

Ryan played a Christmas song this morning cos someone had phoned in to say they'd seen snow.

    Quality broadcasting

It's simple. To stop Christmas getting earlier year on year, DON'T BUY CHRISTMAS STUFF BEFORE HALLOWEEN. It's only because idiots buy Christmas stuff as soon as it comes out that the shops stock it earlier. We had an oul wan complaining that the tree she wanted from the new catalogue wasn't in stock and wouldn't be 'til September - it was July FFS!!

    It is what it's.

    Christmas is over-rated

Oh FFS why oh why do start the christmas build up so early??? By the time Christmas actually comes around I'm just sick of it. It ruins Christmas for me altogether.

I wonder with the recession an all will the shops be able to afford starting it early next year? Heres hoping they can't. Bring back some joy to Xmas

Xmas songs cheer people up and when people are happy they buy more, Radio stations are probably asked to play them.
