how to quickly extract little onion bits from rice that has onion bits in it?

i got a chicken biryani from a indian takaeway and theres loads of little onions in it ewwww how do i take them all out at once, without having to manually pick them out?

onions are usually one of the base ingredients in biryani, best option is to probably choose something else from the menu unfortunately
