Carton house, Maynooth, Kildare... any feedback?

Hi guys,

Having wedding in Carton House in Feb 09, and have heard stories about bad service at the dinner. Hope somebody has something good to say about it to allay my fears of having made a big mistake! Thanks

My cousin got married there in May of this year and it was spectacular. A fantastic wedding in every way. The service was excellent in my opinion.

I have been to Carton several times and the one thing that stands out in my mind was how good the service was. Something I have learned in life is that there will always be someone who is not happy.

If you are in any doubt, go up to Carton a couple of times and have a meal or a drink and you will get to know how the general staff operate with the customers.

I know when we were looking at different venues Carton generally got good reviews. It's probably worth remembering that people will generally tend to spout on about bad service instead of good service.

Looking at the weddingsonline.ie forum, it get's good praise alright.

Heard its fantastic but you might need this when they tell you how much they charge :eek:

I would disagree, the pricing is competitive compared with other venues of a similar standard outside Dublin.

Carton house, Maynooth, Kildare... any feedback?
