How old is your photo coxy_oz ?

I think it's about 13yrs old but I'm not sure. It had just been restored by my neighbour at the time.

I took that pic in Fermoy last Sunday and the Padre Pio sticker made me think that it may have belonged to an elderly lady who possibly had it from new! I was even decieved by the 'faded' paintwork!

I used to call in to the guy that restored it on the way home from school and college to see what he was working on. I always wanted to buy that car but thought it was long gone. Anyone know the owner?

Wow..what a turnaround, the faded red paint and the raised plastic digit number plates make it look totally original, you would never think the colour was so different!!It does look like the same car though with the wipers in the same position, and the spotlights.

Saw these today, near St. Stevens Green. There were more, but only had time to take these pics.

Nice Fiat 500 spotted on Clontarf Road yesterday. Owned by top photographer Mark Nixon. Had some Arbarth branding but dont think it was the real deal.

One question answered before I asked...
Second question.... why ?, is it due to an upgraded gearbox?

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

    From Wikipedia:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barkas
Barkas was the East German manufacturer of small delivery vans and minibuses named the B1000. The former plant of the Framo company in Karl-Marx-Stadt was nationalized by the GDR government. (Karl-Marx-Stadt is now known as Chemnitz since German reunification, as it was before 1953). Production started in 1961 and continued until 1991. Originally the B1000 had a three cylinder, two stroke engine of the old DKW tradition, but shortly before production ceased, for the model named B1000/1, it was replaced by a four-stroke engine manufactured under licence from Volkswagen. Altogether 175,740 B1000s and 1,961 B1000/1s were built.

    Interesting.
