Vodafone Mail - text notification not working?

Hi I recently setup my vodafone.ie e-mail account and have selected text notifications so that I can get notified of new emails with an sms to my phone. However although I'm receiving e-mails fine to that account, I'm not getting any text message notifications. Anyone else experience this, or perhaps offer any advice?…

It's a general problem with the service at the moment.
