Anyone playing Ikariam?

    I've been pretty hooked on this - www.ikariam.org - a pretty involved lite-Civilization style game - and free. I'm on the Iota server - anyone else playing?

    Also, have you guys seen www.hommkingdoms.com ? That looks awesome - it's supposed to go into beta soon.

    I tried it, because it had the look of Sid Meier's Civilization game to it. At first it was fun, but it gets very boring very quickly. There is a maximum of 4 towns you can have, and everything takes a Long time to accomplish. Leaves an Empty feeling after about a week because there is nothing to do at that point. The game has many, many bugs still in it, and they are introducing premium features with the bugs not fixed. (typical) I've never given a game a Bad rating, but this game would be the first.
    A waste of time for me.

    I remember I used to play this a few years ago and tried forming an island empire, got about three cities then an entire alliance came after me. :(
