That there's a lot (although a minority) of idiots on it who think that just because it's the internet, they can say what they like.

The way that when one thread on a topic is posted there will always be a second (considered funny by the OP) on the same topic within a half hour.

What do you HATE about boards.ie

Two childish hysterical moderators in the political forum, who pretend to be impartial and go on to censor and remove posts that THEY do not agree with

Maybe it is just down to my User CP setting but the search engine doesn't work very well for me. I can thinks of a number of times where I ahve search for something but it was overly broad in it's. For example if I searched for "Dublin city Marthon" it brings up threads containing any of the key words, when I am looking specifically for "Dublin city marathon"

That the little box with the thread question that pops up when you run your pointer over it only stayes open for half the time it takes to read

People who think their opinions are more important and that they're always right because they have thousands of posts

The one thing I hate about Boards is the amount of time it eats out of my life. I often log on for hours when I should be reading/studying/sleeping.

    I hate that too!

What do you HATE about boards.ie?
I hate how the "thanks" option for each post is being used. An insult by one member is posted. Then loads of other members announce "their suppport" for the insult by simply thanking the original. It's extremely petty. It's meaningless yet it shows how many members agree with the post. It's a good idea in principle but not when it's used in the way boardsies do.
