Can someone please recommend a cady for my Hard drive?

Folks,

Apologies i am not very good at PC bits and bobs/maintenance etc.

Anyway i recently bought the folowing 500 GB Hard drive from Ebay with the intention of buying also a Caddy and using it as an external hard Drive: http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230269490666&ssPageName=STRK:MERFB:IID

Problem is the connections on it are smaller than an older one i have and now i am not sure if this fits into a Caddy at all and if it does i don;t know what specific caddy i need?

there are only two main types of disk for home pcs

ide/pata the older type

sata the newer type

so just get a sata 3.5inch enclosure

i got one of these http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=331339 a while ago, does ide and sata 3.5" disks

Elara are usually pretty reasonable.

I got a couple of Icy Box caddies and am happy with them.

That's an SATA hard disk that you bought, so something like this will do the trick, £11, incl delivery.
