Vote for the best sandwich in Carlow, my nominations are:

Centra - O'Brien Road / Potato Market

Im partial to a Bagel Factory also.

Aint been in there in a long time but my OH used to work in there and double up the stuff in the rolls/sandwhices so thought it would be a bit unfair to include it.

O'Briens are the best...
but for a chicken fillet roll Centra at Potato Market cannot be beaten.

Worst has to be Nine One One in Esso.
Rotten food, crap portions and bad service.

I really cant understand how nine one one are all over the place, who keeps paying them?

IIRC the only time I ever handed back something I ordered was in one of these kips, something like €4/€4.50 for 5 poxy chicken wings :eek: they're a shocking rip off and should be avoided.

Bagel Factory, although did have a chicken roll in potatoe market centra and it is fairly nice.

I actually quiet like bewleys sandwiches too

I dont think so, I also like the fact that it stays open late and is located in a great spot....Foundry>>Subway>>Taxi>>Tullow, see, it just fits nicely

You'll have to change that route - Subway are closing.

Oh Yeah - nearly forgot - They're opening a bigger place across the road.

From what I have heard, your new route will now be Foundry>>Cross Road>>Subway>>Cross Road>>Taxi>>Tullow. I estimate this will add approx. 9 seconds (up to 20seconds if the staggering is Really bad!) to your journey home on Saturday nights.

Subway are moving to the store that is currently being re-built. Next Door to Goldmark. Will be on 2 floors. Seating for 60 upstairs.
