Eircom DL Speeds Erratic

    Anyone experiencing issues with Eircom download speeds. Mine are jumping from 40kb/s to 250kb/s even though i'm on the 3mb line and normally get 340kb/s.

    It's started happening last night and is gradually getting more and more erratic.
    I;m on the rathmines exchange.

    Anyone know whats up?

    Is this with torrent dowloads? perhaps theyre copying what UPC has recently started!

    no, it's all downloads although mostly from rapidshare
