Great fun in the sell off. A lot of junk but some gems and it was a bit of crack.

Finally TabMixPlus (firefox extension) came in handy so the ol' F5 didn't get hammered!
Was nice to keep window open to see what was coming up.

Screwed up an order with my credit card and the staff were great in sorting it out.

So what junk/treasure did ye all get? Maybe we could swap/trade items if anyone made a rash purchase or something?

Got 4 rechargeable AA batteries for 49p.:o Nealy bought the Maxell ipod dock\speaker thingy but changed my mind before parting with my cash.

Good fun over the past few nights. Maybe they should start selling F5 keys.:D

got my BBQ flavoured worm crisps this morning. My Aigo mp3 thing still aint arrived though. Thought the amount of packaging for the worm crisps was a bit OTT.

Holy "cree-yap".. the packaging is a bit OTT.

My Aigo arrived the yesterday. The sound out of it is truly fantastic.. well worth the money.

Have it loaded up with some music (filled up the 1GB internal drive and have a spare 2GB SD card in it now it with more stuff).

Ditto with the worm crisps - they arrived at my work terribly overpacked (and covered in shoe prints!) along with the headphones which were also overpacked.

    Wasn't as bad as yesterday.

My Aigo player also arrived in work(wrapped in what looked like binliner plastic - i.e. very underwrapped!). I had just ripped off enough of the plastic so you could see the picture of the player when my boss's boss's boss (head of the whole show) walks down and starts talking to me. She passed comment about 'getting a present' but she had that 'is that a sex toy?' look on her face. :o

Stoopid shape - but fantastic sound... it's only a shame the lights don't change in time to the music.

    Free MRSA for every customer:eek:

Todays Boffer is 3x2GB mini sd cards with adaptors for £9.99 and free delivery if you have a kudos of five or more. I went for these because they should fit in my omnisphere if nothing else. (I cant find the manual at the min so not 100% on that).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,201 ✭✭✭quintron

If anyone doesn't want their omnisphere, I'll take it off their hands. I missed that boffer and could do with one! Cheers,

    /me checks Aigo player

+1 for technical accuracy, Macau Cork!
    You win this round... :pac:

As for tonight's Boffer - the Mp3 player/DAB radio, what do people think. Seems like a pretty 'weak' special offer. Anyone have a DAB radio around Dublin? What's reception like? Anything special sound-wise? Many stations?

    Not going for tonight's Boffer...

But thought I'd let people know that I got my random iPod today. After a fortnight of thinking it was going to be a Shuffle in crap nick, what I got was a 30GB iPod Video in great nick (few scratches.. but simply cosmetic). Absolutely bargain for a total of €22.50!

At the very end of the sell-out, they sold out 50 refurbished iPod's in 2 seconds. But they announced it on the forum a minute or two in advance.

    See here!

So refreshed, and added it to cart at the right time.. as the post says, they had a random mixture of everything from Shuffles to Touches (only had 2 of them though) - and were selling them at £9.99 excluding shipping (so it was a lucky dip on which you'd get!). Was sure I'd get a Shuffle in poor nick.. but the 30GB iPod Video in great nick I got was a great suprise. Am chuffed with it!
