Campus Book shop

I've a lis of books to get ad I'm just wondering is the DCU book shop a cheaper place to get them or will I find them cheaper elsewhere?

Or sometimes at the start of the year people from the previous year email around looking to sell second hand books - this is probably the cheapest way to get them

For how long at a time to the library let you take out any book?

Generally its three weeks at a time, you also get three renewals (you can renew online but you'll have to ask for your account pin number at the checkout desk in the library first)

So nine weeks total.

Yep, go to the Library.

I spent about 250 euro on books in frist year and barely used them.
I NEVER bought a book again and always used the library.

Even the lecturers don't expect you to buy them and always point
out what versions are available in the library etc.

Read's on Nassau Street is always a good place to pick up books on the cheap but as TomCo said, your best bet is to just use the library. From time to time there will be one book or two you'll need for permanent reference and that's where Read's or online stores come in.

Anyone know what the opening times for the bookshop are? Is is just Mon to Fri?

AFAIK they are posted on the door of the bookshop.And i think its only Monday to Friday.
