yeah, well, for most of the time.

Im headin from dublin on my own to and meet lads from a cork flight in amsterdam airport, stayin the night there, but im not headin back with them, im parting ways after we get back to brussels from ILT

Right boys and girls I am defintely going to go to this. I have one recruit and maybe a few more followers so I'm going to book something now.

Plan so far is: Flying into Brussels on Sat 15th early morning, flying out Monday 17th evening. Was planning of staying in Gent as I hear getting to and from Brussels can be a pain in the ass, is that correct.

Guys and and all info and tips you can give on this thread would really be appreciated.

yup, booked a hostel in brussels beside the train station, well a mile walk, which is no bother to me, where i can get a bus down to chareleroi, sadly, i wont be seeing much of brussels, as ill be basically checking into the hostel in the evening and sleeping until 6am or that, when ive to get up and make my way to the airport,

youd be best off stay in a hostel in brussels, closer to the airport the better in my opinion

Cheers. I was told getting too and from the event can be a pain with massive crowds etc so its better to stay in Gent as its easy to get to Brussells or whereever from there by train or whatever. You can get a train from the Airport directly to Gent. I found a hotel near to the "Gent-Sint-Pieters‎" train station, and there are free trams going to and from the event from there.

Era the travelling is all part of it anyways..Trams full of people who are heaing to ILT... The craic is great !!!

@ Leif_Erikson - Sure flights are so cheap anyways now, that you could go ther any weekend to walk around the place! lol

Ah not that old really - pushing 32 :eek: More that I have a 7 month old and a 4 year old and a very busy job (and a wife of course

Its my Bday Present to myself and for my Bday my mam is giving me the whole weekends bsitting for free!! Woo Hoo !! lol

Id deffo be up for the Meet up..Altho, from past experiences, it may fall apart for reasons like, people forget, or people dont be anywhere near the location at the given time etc etc!!
but sure we'll give it a try !!

Been trying to get a few friends to go to ILT but falling short due to the various excuses.

I've been to Ghent before and if you've ever seen In Bruges well its a lot like that. Its really easy to get there from Brussels by train and there's plenty of accommodation.

Instead of being disappointed I thought that I'd check out here to see if there was anything on this about it. And what do you know

So I hope to have more news after the weekend whether I'll be making my own way.

Anyone know what the best way to travel down from Amsterdam is.. presume its the train but are there alot of police checks coming out of the train station? I've heard of a a few party buses but they might take ages.. Better off buying all your party supplys there?
Also stayin in amsterdam on fri n going down to ILT n then back again next morning, good or bad idea, rave carry on in Gent sunday?

Well we just jumped on a train to brussels, took about 3 hours..Didnt hear anything about Party busses?

Thats a fair idea alright about going dwn the sat...theres bound to be a party somewhere around the place the day after ! lol
