whether you agree with somebodies post or not, you have the option of giving them a thanks or not. If somebody says something relevant or witty, you can just click the "thanks" button, like a big warm fuzzy pat on the back:)

BUT, if you dont agree with someone and you tell them off by how visiously retarded they are, you risk playing witht the Ban hammer. Even though some people really need to be told sometimes that they are just plain pants on head retarded.

so, I think we need another button beside the Thanks button; a thumbs down if you will...something along the lines of..."omg, your such an epic fail, yore ma's a fail, GTFO, how do you remember to breath in the mornings?!?!...."

    Wont happen..

    The Karma system was Fail..

An "antithanks" or "Fcukwit" or "troutslap" or whatever button reeks of karma..
Not that I'm against it, It could be good as a trial in certain fora.
    But AH?
I just dont think its gonna happen.

even if everyone could ONLY use the button ONCE a day....It would minimise over-use and would add emphasis to the fact that you choose to use your button at said occasion.

I suggested a "fook You" button a few days ago and wasn't given so much as a "Thank You" for it.

They should have a "Turd Ferguson" button that when pressed gives me a free ice cream or a midget in a tux throws monies at me or something like that.

Aw crivens, didn't realise that the link'd be censored. Damn you prudish overlords!!

It wouldnt work, it would just cause hassle for the mods!

When I post an exceedingly funny, side-splitting comment, it takes soooo long for many of the people on Boards to get it, they become old and decrepit and lose the use of their fingers. Their eyesight has also gone by this time, along with their memory, so they couldn't see the computer, even if they remembered where it was.

no, we should have a "Turd Ferguson" button so that when any of us get aggrevated at something, we can press it and you get an electric shock. :D

How's about a pedo bear button. That would give the feckers something to think about before hitting the submit button

If you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all. It'll bring AH to a grinding halt but it's what Jesus would have wanted.

Is there a limit to the number of times you can thank posts? The amount of times people bow down and say something like "ikky Poo2, that is brilliant. Truly inspirational. I wish I could thank you but, you see... I've just run out!"

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Just move on the next post if you don't like. Or pull them up on the post.

Anti-thanks in the hands of some of the 4chan fan/b/ois on boards, would be like a fart in a lift.

I submitted a detailed request back in March for a button that would encompass all the issues addressed on this thread.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055252873

Unfortunately due to reasons I cannot understand it was never implemented. I just don't know whyyyyyyy :(
