I received an email yesterday from Sony about a new TV tuner that has come out for the PS3. Apparently it allows you to watch TV, record it, pause it etc, on your PS3.

I'm not sure if these are in the shops yet, I you can order them from Argos, but I was wondering if anyone here has one or knows much about them?

Are they any good? What types of limitations are there? I mean would it work with all digital TV providers, cable and satellite?

Somebody posted a thread on Terrestrial forum about this. He got one, though is just having a minor problem with picking up one Freeview frequency.

I thought that this was only working in England? Is there certain areas in Ireland one can pick up the signal?

Edit, nevermind, ive read the thread. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055221804

Its a popular addition for uk users alright ,Sony should really release something for markets like ourselves.

Maybe when we catch up in a couple of years with digital broadcasts ,there might be a cable connection added:P

just when we think we are parallel ,they bring out this yoke :pac::D:pac::pac:
