Luas Smart Card CC/debit card question

    Hi.
I want to order a Luas Smart Card with my Credit Card online.
Does this Credit Card have to be the same one as the Credit Card with which you subsequently top up at Paystations.

And if you top up at paystations via Laser/CC i presume you actually need to insert your Laser/CC there and then at the machine to authorise the payment to the Luas Smartcard-
ie i presume the machine doesn't automatically access the registered card details of the credit card that you used to purchase the Smartcard?

Sorry if this seems like an obvious question but it's not really outlined on the luas.ie site.
    Thanks.

You can use any credit card.

Yes, you have to insert whatever card your are using at the paystation. The top up system does not access any pre registered information.
