I just got mine done and was charged €450 for the privilege (was just a timing belt..no service done), was expecting it to be about half that.
Does this seem like a reasonable price?

Depends who did it, indy or main dealer? Also did they replace the water pump at the same time?

A bit expensive for an indy I'd say.

They did replace the water pump, said it was part of the kit, done by an independant.
I suppose i just need to tighten my own belt this month.

Is the car petrol or diesel?

Diesel, the petrols have chain timing belts I think, why aren't all timing belts chains?

Price is reasonable enough so if waterpump was included , petrols tend to be cheaper .
