Present for afters?

    Hi, invited to afters of a cousin of mine, wouldnt know her well at all.
    Going out of politeness(family and all).
    Am i expected to buy a present?

    Get her a plant. There is a creeper type plant called The Wedding Rose. You can write in the card something inside the card along the lines of "this plant should grow like your marriage....." etc etc. It will cost you around €30.00 but appears thoughtful and kind. Also as it is a creeper it takes very little maintenance by the owner.

    I think they have an apartment, no garden.
    Thats just being awkward. They'll have to move:) You could get a photograph frame, you know they'll have lots of pics of wedding and honeymoon to put in it.
