Lads currently have dell xps m1710 laptop, I am thinking of getting the dell E248WFP 24-inch monitor to go wit it.

Is it just a matter of plugging it ina nd it will work with my laptop?

It cost 380e whereas all the other dell 24 inch monitors are way dearer but as i will only be using it for poker i think it will do me

Anyone got one of these ? how fo they find it?.

Its perfect, you dont need anything better or its just overkill.

For multi tabling and watching hi-def movies and stuff its plenty good enough.

the 248 is a TN film with the panel manufacturer unkown.

the 2408 is a far superior monitor. Its a samsung panel and uses S-PVA.

Go to the wiki page for tft lcd for a good breakdown

thanks for the replies . i have now come across this 26 inch one

    http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/1153378/art/samsung/syncmaster-t260-26-wide-f.html.

Would this be the same quality as the dell one as obviously id prefer a 26inch one if its only a bit extra.?

    Thanks
