Freshers ball is good, but not one of the good balls of the year.. Well in the getting pissed if you want sure, but I more so meant for bands and djs.

I found it the only credible ball of the year - the halloween ball was shambolic due to poor organising, christmas ball - button factory was a bad choice, the rag ball lacked any atmosphere you would have hoped for for a university rag week,

summer ball - wrist bands and no leaving after 10pm - enough said
