Paul Banks - Lead Singer from Interpol - Dead?

    I was looking at this video earlier on and some of the comments are alluding to his passing within the past day and referring to CNN and Reuters.

    I have since searched the various news sites and can find no information? Is there any truth to this, or was this a simple mistake of identity/someone trying to stir ****?

    Youtube comments are usually ridiculous statements just trying to get some attention. I wouldn't give it too much heed until reports appear from reputable news agencies.

    I was just reading up on paul banks... He used to be the head guitarist for "shed seven"! LOL

    I actually wiki'd Paul Banks for a pic of him as he can be kinda hot sometimes - it was a different Paul Banks who was with Shed Seven. Phew!

    yeah Interpol's Paul Banks was never in Shed Seven, altho the original guitarist with them was called Paul Banks too, - dont believe everything on the net!!
    Also he's not dead.
