Its less to do with sexuality and everything to do with immature stereotypes.

"OMG! He's drinking Baileys.. he must be gay!"

And I could care less :P
    hes sending out the signals

And I could care less :P

    so you do care then?
That's the most annoying phrase ever.

Yes, because every gay person automatically drinks Baileys

Im just stating the opinion that all those who would stereotype someone because of what they drink, are immature. It's like saying everyone who drives a modified car, is a boy racer; everyone who downloads porn, cant get a girl; anyone who works at Mc Donalds couldnt be bothered getting a better job. If you judge someone just on what they drink, its just sad.

And those signals could mean anything from "I enjoy baileys" to "I'm having the same drink my girlfriend ordered in a show of camaraderie"

Wouldn't go near the stuff anymore myself though... and ex spilled a glass on my Powerbook a few years back....

Sompeople think it's the baileys that make them gay, some think it's anal sex, it's the hugging and the kissing.

That's fair enough, but "I could care less" makes no sense. It means you care, when you're trying to say you don't.

Drink what you like the taste of, ffs... shockingly, it won't actually alter your sexual preference - or define it - to anyone! - except cretins, clearly.

I don't see the point in putting ice in Baileys though - just dilutes the taste.

hardcore - straight baileys no ice- its not gay if you drink it in pint glasses - very bohemian ?

If ya like baileys, Drink it, but be prepared for a few dodgy looks.

If you go to a bar and above all the beers, spirits and cocktails you pick Baileys, there is something very wrong with you.

Its the "only drink at a session theory", if there is nothing there you'll drink it.
It's not right at the bottom with Pimms or Pernod or anything.

As a cocktail ingredient its an essential, but over ice..........sugary milky muck.

Lets call a spade a spade here, drinking Baileys is not gay, but all in all, its a pretty gay drink.

And I dont care how PC or accepting you are, if you sit down with your mates and give a drinks order of 5 Beers and a Baileys over ice, that guy is getting a grilling for the night.

I think you've got that the wrong way around.

Someone comfortable in their heterosexuality would know that drinking baileys doesn't make them gay. Someone who thinks it does would strike me as being VERY uncomfortable with their heterosexuality.

I prefer Baileys Coffee to Irish Coffee. Fact!

Also, if you like men but have a mangina does that make you gay?

Just because you don't like it, doesnt mean everyone else is gay for liking it. (baileys that is, not homosex)

Not much point in ordering a cocktail in Navan, I suppose. The Barkeep wouldn't be able to mix a drink well, seeing as his knuckles are stuck to the pissy floor :P

I'd prefer a maggot cider. A simple, honest, fisherman's drink, like what Jeff drinks.
