Is the registration fee (think it was €835 last year) a one off for first year or do you have to pay it every year?

Every year, and don't be surprised if it goes up

I wouldn't be surprized at all. Will make a call tomorrow and find out what it is

It's 938, or at least that's the last sure thing they told me. :D Do we pay our taxes prior to or on registration?

    You are correct its 938e.

But if you are lucky enough to get a grant you only pay the 38e - you must however bring a letter from your council/vec indicating that you have been awarded a grant, otherwise you have to pay the additional 900e (which you will be refunded on your first grant payment date).
