The old toll bridge building on the Westlink should be protected. It is a shame after all these years of service it has done tor the people of Dublin. It also has a history as being the first toll booth in the country. It could also be turned into a fine restaurant or museum for the NRA with ample parking using all the old lead in lanes. :D

For Wednesday and Thursday this week, they should give a raffle ticket to every motorist who goes through the bridge on those days.

On Thursday evening, draw 200 tickets from a hat and announce the winners.

The winners get to go the toll bridge at any time on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, pick up sledgehammer and batter away to their heart's content.

    Who needs paid contractors?

If it was turned into a restaurant it would give the public a birds eye view of traffic being zapped passing under the new gantries :D

I was actually inside the building in 2002, You can walk right across the gantry which has offices and a canteen etc. it is much bigger than you think.

Bomb it. Or take it apart and rebuild it in front of the Dail Gates. Challenging in one night.

Are the rumours that it has 18 stories and a bunker underground true ??

Some say that the Stig is the CEO and sits in a command center 2 miles under the West Link, others say its actually just a toll bridge.

All I know is I've got to talk to my doctor about increasing my medications :D

We could dump it in the liffey, but i think it would be more fun to dump the people who came up with the idea and the ministers involved in the liffey instead.
