MA club near Bishopstown, Cork

Hello,

I was hoping to find a martial arts club in or near to Bishopstown, Cork or pretty much anywhere around CUH hospital.

I have about 18 years experience in Hung Gar Kung Fu but I haven't done ANYTHING for the last 7 years. College + life just got too busy.

I really don't care what style the club is. I just want to get moving again and meet some new people. It would be fun to learn something new as well (although I have a pretty fair amount of experience with TKD - WTF style).

It's more important to me to find something near Bishopstown or CUH. I just don't have a lot of time to commute and still haven't bothered getting a car.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance,

I believe there's still a Muai Thai club in Ballincollig, not that far from Bishopstown. Theres also CIT College, I'm sure you don't have to be a student to join some of the MA programs there.

Is the City Center too much of a venture? i.e McCurtain street. 1 of my guys cycles in from Wilton(University Hospital) to train.

Thanks for the info. I might check those out. I've also heard of a karate club that's run out of the secondary school behind CUH (pardon my butchering of the spelling - "Spirit Naive"?)

Is that club still running or has anyone heard anything about that?

There's a karate club based in the Lough Community Centre

Website looks very outta date but I know a few guys from there and they're definitely still training.

Think there's also Judo in Ballincollig as well as Muay thai that Liam mentioned.
