    Hows it going lads..........

Last Sunday the pull out magazine from The Star (I think aldo might of been Sunday World) recommend a book about some fella who travelled all over the world to learn several different disciplines in order to become a more complete MMA fighter. He went to thailand to learn thai and harleem to box cant remember were else he went do. But I was just wondering if anyone knows what the name of the book or even the author of it? Checked Easons website but nothing on it there seems to be ringing any bells. It sounded like a fantastic read judging by the review even got 4 stars!!

Any help guys and gals? Cheers :)

Saw what must have been the same book in Hughes & Hughes a few weeks back. Looked interesting enough, although not interesting enough for me to buy it on the day apparently.

Can't remember the name of it unfortunately or who wrote it. *

All in all this hasn't been a particularly helpful post!

A fighters heart by Sam Sheridan.

A great read not just for the fact that it tells the tale of someone starting out in MMA and their feelings and experiences, which I think everyone here will relate to, but also the insights it gives into a different side of fighters like Rodrigo Nogueria and Tim Slyvia. Its interesting too to read how Fairtex Gym in Bangkok has become more commercialised with the popularity of MMA.

All in all a great read. Much better than most Autobiographies that you'd get from most fighters.

There are a few interesting interviews with him on Youtube too, he was on The Daily Show about a year back.
