US hunters claim to have found Bigfoot

Two American hunters say they have a bit of a surprise in their freezer: a Bigfoot, or Sasquatch.

The pair, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, say that they discovered the body of the mythical apeman in a remote forest in northern Georgia - USA not Eastern Europe - about two weeks ago.

They plan to present "DNA evidence and photo evidence of the creature" at a press conference in Palo Alto, California, tomorrow and an associate said that the body would be on show as well....

If Bigfoot is meant to be the missing link...
Like something between man and ape...

    And it really is him..

    and they did shoot him...

    Murder charges or animal cruelty?

...the creature was seven foot seven inches (2.31m) tall and weighs over 500lb (230kg).
"They showed me the body. They took me to the area where they found it - it took a day and a half to get there."

I'm assuming the travelled on foot, if so how did they haul something that heavy back to a freezer?

Why shoot it? Capture it for experiments or put it in a zoo.

God I'd forgotten about Big Foot. He was all the rage for random sightings in the early 90s

Shooting it would have been the only option for them really. 7 foot of hairy beast wouldn't come too easily and I presume they were pretty far from civilization at the time and too far to get help in capturing it. Thats if its not a hoax of course.

Hmm I get it now, though thankfully I can blame my slowness on a still lingering hangover and not the pwnage.

The article says they 'discovered' the body and not that they shot it.

Particularly ones with nice fur and attractive heads.

Anyway, this is all bollix. I met Bigfoot in a nightclub 3 years ago in Offaly. One thing led to another, and today we are happily married with 3 bigfoot children and a small fuzzy thing of whose origin we are unsure.

This rather outrageous claim brings shame and anger to my hairy family.

Yes they did exactly what I would do in their situation, mutilate the evidence, stuff it in a tiny freezer, take blurry photographs and call a press conference...

    ................
