I once ate a meatball that rolled off a mates Subway and rolled across the ground into the middle of Dame Street, the actual driving part. Made a fiver from it and am still alive two years later.

I think all these rules are unnecessary.

*if i'm drunk then anything is fair game

Mate of mine, in a pub in Wales.

Pint of snakebite, last orders is gone.

Snakebite falls onto manky student union bar carpet.

Mate then scoops what he can back into his plastic "glass" and downs it.

Full of fur and other assorted goodness from the carpet.

the way i see it, when i was a baby crawling around on the floor, i would pick anything up and pop it in my mouth. if it didn't bother me then, why should it bother me now! ;)

Hell yeah! I'll eat most things, but it depends on both the foodstuff and the location. Ice cream on a football pitch? No thanks. Chocolate that's been on a fairly clean carpet for a few mins? No bother!

In china, when eating, never mind the floor, if it falls anywhere at all, tablecloth, etc, you don't touch it again.

I don't give a sh*t, especially if you're going to cook the food. At bbqs we always drop chicken/fish on the ground etc and then just lash it back on the grill, the ground is probably cleaner than you think, plus heat kills bacteria anyway

if it falls in ****, you're probably better off not eating it.. but to be quite honest your hands and mouth are likely to be far filthier than most surfaces your chocolate bar will fall on.
any street packed with nightclubs at 4am.. my hands are definitely cleaner..

if it drops, bin it... unless its half cooked then its back in the pan
