No This isn't a reference my girlfriend made to me last night.

But I just wanted to see if any other "Tall" guys have purchased inch longer clubs?

It's about a year ago now, I bought a set of irons Mizuno MX-19. I got them in McGuirks and there an inch longer.

I am 6ft 5 and found before I got these clubs I wasn't hitting the ball properly I was topping alot of balls because I wasn't down low enough because of the length of my clubs.

But since I bought these new irons, and new driver, by game has improved by about 10-15 shots.

I had toyed with the idea of getting a set custom made for me shaft etc. but the guy in McGuirks was honest and said to me that since I am not a low handicapper that there isn't really much benefit and that he felt the inch longer clubs would do it for me.

    Well it has.

I guess this post isn't asking any questions, more so advice to taller guys that are maybe suffering from this aswell. I did pay a bit for my irons and the driver etc I got, but they had some good priced ones there when I was looking.

    Totally agree.

I'm 6ft 4 and use 1/2 an inch longer irons. I did try to go back to standard length in a bid to get more control, and it worked to an extent, but having gone back to longer sticks this year I have to agree with you - the only way to go for taller guys.
