    Ok, your running low on cash, what is the most recommended cheap (and premium of course!!) brew to get?


    I know I have forgotten some cheap names out there...

    Lidl do a nice german pils. 6x 500ml bottle for €6.99
    its called prelanbacker but my spelling probably isn't accurate.

    Lately I've been enjoying Cantina beer from aldi. Nice with a bit of lime.

    tuborg all the way. used to like dutch gold, then i realised it was muck.

    dunnes also do a nice cheap german beer called kaiserdom. 6x500ml bottles for €7, not too shabby.

    I've never tasted it from a can, but remember Tuborg on draft when i was in Turkey a few years ago and it was savage stuff altogether, so i'd go with that.

    It is a good beer, but i no a lad who used the bottles when making a home brew once and these bottles blew up!

    Dutch gold is your only man, my local offie (champers Limerick) recently did it in in a 12 pack for 12 bucks.
