    Hi all,

first post in here, doing a bit of research for building media box.. but anyway, did anyone see the "back to school" PC that aldi were doing on sunday ? (its still on their site). described as above, but looks to be specced out for far more than schoolwork. Seems to tick most of the boxes for a media box, but does anyone know what hybrid tuner card it is using ? (which seems to do it all).. and what would ye think of it as a media box..

    thanks,

    stylers.

looks better than most of the rubbish you can get in PCworld. loads of connectivity. seem very good. remote and everything.

wonder about the chipset though. doesn't say what is is. Might be some via ****e. you never know might be intel. case looks like ATX so if mobo fails replacing it would be easy enough.

would be nice as a media server. not sure about having one in the living room though.

    The motherboard is an MS-7502.

The DVB-S/T card is a Creatix model.
